Marijke’s work is strongly influenced by the vibrancy of Australia’s natural beauty, with its intense colour. Its visual delicacy’s, strength and toughness, is the basis of her work. Creating textiles with translucency, fluidity and yet strength as a compliment to the female form. All works are felted with Australian fine merino wool and silk. Marijke also uses other natural fibres. |
